The RGB outdoor lights use LED as the light source for decorative lighting, which is decorative and illuminating, more energy efficient and has a longer lifespan than conventional light sources.

  • What are the characteristics of RGB outdoor light?

  • What is the working principle of RGB outdoor light?

How do I connect an RGB outdoor light?

When the four wires of the RGB outdoor light are connected to the controller, the yellow one is connected to the common layer, and the three red, green and blue wires are connected to the corresponding control island wires.

The RGB outdoor light is divided into common anode and common cathode and only needs to be used in combination with the corresponding common anode or common cathode controller. The common anode is used more. Normally, the four rows of an RGB outdoor light are yellow, red, green and blue.

The yellow should be connected to the common pole (positive v for common anode and negative v for common cathode), the red wire should be connected to the red control wire (usually marked with R) on the controller, and the green wire should be connected to the red control line of the controller.

When you connect it to the green control cable (usually marked G) on the controller, the blue cable must be connected to the blue control cable (usually marked B) on the controller. Red, green and blue cannot be combined arbitrarily. The color displayed differs from the actual color for any connection.

What are the characteristics of RGB outdoor light?

1.Professional RGB outdoor light: soft with eye protection, no flicker close to natural light.

2.Full Color: You can customize a variety of colors (currently more than 16 million bright colors can be customized).

3.Smart: Remote control of light color/brightness/light switch/timing.

4.The RGB outdoor light is modular and not limited by the shape of the lamps.

5.Energy saving and environmental protection, long service life. energy saving and environmental protection, ten times less electricity than incandescent lamps; Long service life: The service life is up to 50,000 hours.

What is the working principle of RGB outdoor light?

The three color channels red, green and blue of the RGB outdoor light are divided into 256-brightness levels. At 0, the "light" is weakest – it is turned off, and at 255, the "light" is brightest. If the tricolor grayscale values are the same, gray tones with different grayscale values are generated, that is, if the tricolor grayscale is all 0, it is the darkest black tone; if the tricolor grayscale is 255, this is the brightest white tone.

RGB colors are called additive colors because you create white by adding R, G, and B (that is, all the light is reflected back to the eye). Additive colors are used in lighting, televisions and computer monitors. For example, displays generate color by emitting light from red, green and blue fluorescents. The majority of the visible spectrum can be represented as a mixture of red, green and blue (RGB) light in different proportions and intensities. When these colors overlap, cyan, magenta and yellow are produced.
